Devon bonded leather tote

Bought on sale. Sturdy. Looks a little plasticky, but for the price, fantastic! Well worth it.

What a lovely, structured tote bag. The size is exactly what I needed to carry my necessities. The first color that I purchased was vintage burgundy, then brown. I love the rich color of these two bags. Simply stunning! Today I purchased the remaining color option in black. I’m complete now. Great quality, well executed design. Nice work J.Crew! I wanted a simple, stylish and large tote for work. This bag ended up being perfect. It easily fits my laptop, lunch and large water bottle with spare room. The straps are thick and seem to be very sturdy. I’ve only had the bag a few weeks but it seems like a really solid quality bag. There is one small pocket on the interior that has plenty of room to store keys, phone, chapstick etc. highly recommend!

I've had this bag for about a month, so I can't speak to the long term durability. But the leather is very sturdy, the bag doesn't slump over, and the bottom is well reinforced. I wish the handles were a little more comfortable in my hand (maybe more padding?) and there were feet on the bottom of the bag. But besides that, this bag is the perfect for my daily commute to the office, I fit a change of a shoes, small makeup bag, a wallet, lunch and other small essentials with no problem. I love the one interior pocket for my keys and lipgloss. It's a simple design, chic, practical and SO BEAUTIFUL! I've been looking for about 6 months for a new bag to replace my old commuter purse that would be professional and stylish, lightweight, durable, and fit all the things - and this is it! I highly recommend this tote.
