J.Crew Editions X Alpha Industries® Barn Jacket™

I recognize the glossy green nylon of alpha industries is not for everyone, but I think it’s a real fresh look. Standout for sure, but if you lean into the military/Wallace & Barnes style it’s easy to wear this with all kinds of outfits. Definitely more of a thicker coat than I had thought; it’s filled with primaloft insulation (not in the description but is mentioned on the item tags) so you’ll have a warm, weather resistant layer for chilly fall or winter days. The barn pockets are fully corduroy lined. Cuffs are interesting - from the picture it’s your normal straight cuff, but actually underneath is a bomber-style elastic cuff, never seen anything like it. Overall amazing jacket that I know will be a conversation piece. Wear with confidence even if some don’t like the boldness of the shine.
