Edie Parker® X J.Crew button-front tiered maxi dress in limes and oranges

Though the print is fun for summer, I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing this "dress" for any occasion other than a pool party or beach vacation over a swimsuit. Is this a dress or a glorified and gorgeous swimsuit cover up? First it is a slip on--no buttons or zippers. No structure. No support. I'm around 5'5 and I normally wear a size 4 in JCREW so I'd say the extra small was true to size. I couldn't find any kind of bra that wasn't showing underneath. I even tried those clear backless silicone gel "bras" and that didn't work. Those are great for low cut or backless dresses, but this dress was so low cut in the front and impossible to wear a bra with. The only option is to just not wear a bra. How can I wear this dress anywhere other than to a very casual dinner at the beach over a swimsuit? I wear a 36DD and couldn't wear a bra with this dress so wearing no bra is not my style and I feel it shows way too much cleavage.

Such a weird cut! So difficult to put on. I regret buying it even though I love the color and pattern. =(

My normal Jcrew dress size is xxs. Before buying, I had read other reviews and knows that it runs small so I sized up one size to xs but I could not think that is it still a bit tight for me at the chest area. Overall, the cotton material is light and flowy. I don’t find it see through at all when wearing except the case you separate the layer to see the material. The print make me feel energetic and happy. I recommend this dress but you can think about sizing up for more chest comfortability and coverage.

It's ok. I love the colors but they are muted in person. The top is tiny. For reference a typical JCrew size 4 runs slightly big on me. I'm 5'9 and 140 lbs and sz 30 F bra. The top is see through. I would've returned but it was not refundable.

Love at first sight. This is one of those dresses that changes your mood just by looking at it. It’s stunning!!! If it came in different colors I would buy them all. I’m 5’6” 148 pounds and I got this in a size small.

Gorgeous dress!! Fits perfectly, true to size and comfortable. The only side note is that the straps don't stay adjusted and slide back to longest, so I'm trying to figure out how to fix it but still worth it!
