Great cold weather dress-up pants
October 3, 2024Excellent warm pants to wear during the winter months to the office or out on date-night with the wife. Has the same great fit I've grown accustomed to with 484s from J.Crew

Not quite as good as earlier releases
April 27, 2023Compared to the older brush twill pant release, AE579, the fabric on these is much thinner and the quality has decreased somewhat. The thinner fabric has the unfortunate side effect of bunching up a bit and makes one look somewhat disheveled. I find the older version preferable as it drapes better.

Great dressier pants
March 25, 2023love these pants in the fall and winter for a dressier option to khakis, but not quite suit slacks. They have a great texture and can really be dressed up and down. I only wish I could wear them year round, but they are warmer. You will get compliments wearing these.

I've made a decision....
February 27, 2022I will never buy JC pants online again. This latest pair: 1) Required a drag queen's talons to even unbutton them. 2) Attempted to convince me my butt has hugely enlarged. I managed to tug them up, but the zipper only went up 2/3rds of the way. There was a gap of over 3 inches between the fastener button and the opposite button hole. 3) Demonstrated I do not have a 34" inseam, but then I ordered 34/32 (unless I erred). Did I mention that the waist was sized up from my usual 33? The last pair of 484s I ordered in a 33 were a little tight, but nothing like this. I have bought tons of 484s in stores and they all fit great in a 33. 4) Made me wonder if sale prices are influenced by the fit of different batches of the same item. I paid an astonishingly low price for these. 5) Inspired charity. Since I can't return them, I will give these to the first dude I see with skeletal hips, an hour-glass torso, long fingernails, and legs long enough to avoid stacking twill pants.

Too small
February 3, 2022Always order 33/32 and they fit perfect. Purchased these and I can barely button them! I own lots of jcrew pants and they’re all larger than these. Can’t return bc it’s a final sale therefore I’m screwed. Money wasted. Size up fellas!
