Twisted puff headband in satin

This headband is an excellent touch of style for any outfit, I have an olive skin tone and dark hair/features, this is just such a lovely little look. The other reviews note this running small, I did not have that issue and it is one of my more comfortable bands - and I have a large head honestly.

My main reason for wearing headbands is to add some volume to my small head/flat hair, so the wide, puffy look of this one suits my purposes, but it may not work for everyone. It's not subtle like the braided satin headbands from the last holiday season. It actually reminds me of a Tudor headdress, which could be too much, depending on your tastes. The fit was in keeping with the rest of my J. Crew headbands; I didn't find it too small or uncomfortable.

The pictures look very cute, but the actual headband is very small (I have a relatively small to average size head and found it to be uncomfortably small, like it may pop off at any second). The reason I’m leaving a review is because I actually went back to the listing to confirm I had not mistakenly purchased a children’s headband. Will also note that the fabric looks very cheap. Regretfully bought on final sale so…no returns. Be warned. Never thought I’d mark “runs small” on a headband lol.

I wanted to like this, and I have no complaints about the quality or construction. But unlike the knotted headbands, which I find flattering on the head, this headband made my head look quite wide? I find it hard to explain, but it was not nearly as flattering as the knotted ones.
