What customers are saying:
Customers really enjoyed the chic design and classy details, with many praising the full lining and perfect drape that keep the look modern and elegant. A few customers recommended upgrading the fabric to use more natural wool, suggesting that this tweak could enhance the premium feel that was expected from the collaboration. Some also noted that offering additional length options or accommodating hem adjustments might better serve taller customers or different style needs. Overall, the trousers were seen as a stylish and versatile choice that could be even better with a few thoughtful refinements.

For shame…
February 11, 2023JCrew ought to be ashamed. They marketed this is a fancy European collaboration and charged a ridiculous sum for these pants. They said they were made in a fancy Italian mill and were “city wool”. The moment I pulled them out of the bag (and who wads up $250 pants and puts them in a bag???) I knew they were polyester. Turns out 55%. The cut of the pants is nice, but the fabric is something I would expect to buy at JC Penney. Awful. And I can’t return them because they were on sale.

A nice pant
November 25, 2022A nice pant with nice material. As others mentioned it’s not pure wool and it shows. It’s nice fabric, but pricey for the actual quality. The inside fabric makes the pants feel nice and slinky, with the top and inside layer light and finely woven, together it seems warm without making you hot. The quality of craftsmanship and tailoring are beautiful and they hang nicely and a great length that isn’t too long but also not the overdone ankle length. Unfortunately they are made large and we’re too big for me so I have to return. I’m usually a 2 in clothing a s bought a 2. Im am 5,81/2” and 122 Ilbs for reference.

Very wide and long
November 8, 2022Nice pants - high waisted and wide legged. Had to have them hemmed as they were very long. Material I fear will wrinkle. They are mostly polyester, not wool which was disappointing. They had a double pleat in place on one leg so they also had to be pressed professionally.

Nice fitting classy suit trouser
November 5, 2022I am 5'4", 120 lbs and I am usually a size 4 in J Crew pants. This pair was no exception. I do not think the pants run small. I am loving the wider leg and the higher waistband - glad to see the return of classic styles. You cannot go wrong with navy, and lined pants make a smoother fit. The matching jacket is fitted at the waist and together they make a nice outfit. I am pleased with this purchase.

Classic, lined trousers with a hint of French chic
October 22, 2022These classic, chic trousers are fully lined (which is hard to find!), have a nice drape and the fabric has a very subtle vertical stripe which I love. I do wish they were 100% wool though. I am 5'7", 132 lbs, smaller waist, and a bit of curve to the hips and a flatter bum. I wear a size 28 in J. Crew's Curvy Vintage Straight Jean. I ordered a 6 and 8 and kept the 8 so I think these may run a touch small esp. if you have curvier hips and more of a bum. I kept the 8 because it felt more comfortable in the bum although the waist is a tad big. The 6 was perfect in the waist and probably fine in the butt, but I don't like it when I can "feel" my bottom in pants, esp. when they are lined (if that makes sense!). No matter what size, I have to get these pants hemmed. If you're thinking about them and invest in classics the price point may not be much of an issue. But if you're on the fence, I would wait for a promotion especially if you have to pay to have them altered.
