May 4, 2025bought this vest last year along with a few others from J.Crew—mostly linen styles that I loved. I was drawn to this one for the flattering cut and the beautiful white fabric buttons, which are a nice touch. However, it’s my least favorite of the bunch. The fabric (63% recycled polyester/37% polyester) feels structured but lacks softness and stretch, especially compared to the cotton or linen options. It’s held up well over time, but I barely wore it last summer and honestly don’t see myself reaching for it again. I’ll likely resell or donate it. Not a total miss, but not a favorite either.
