French terry crewneck sweatshirt

I don’t understand the many positive reviews. All the details of the sweater are off. The gaping collar is too loose.. and is thick and bulky. The collar doesn’t sit clean/flush against the neck. The ribbed texture of the collar and “V” detail at the base of the neck are too much.. they stand out too much from the texture of the sweater. The ribbed lining at the bottom of the sweater is also way too wide.. easily 3 inches.. It looks silly. The tapered sides also add an unnecessary layer of detail.. and create an unappealing tapered look from the back. Ugh I hate this sweater so much. So disappointed. Was hoping for a classic/timeless/simple sweater. So so sad :( JCrew is too much of a hit or miss these days. Not the reliable/consistent go-to it once was..

The color is way darker than on the website. And it runs pretty large and long. I almost though they had sent me the wrong style. And sent me a tall fit instead of a classic. Other reviewers said that it shrank once you put it in the dryer. I just did that and it didn't shrink enough to me. and the shape is now uneven.

Really nice quality sweatshirt, looks great on and my husbands favorite. The fit is good and washes really well.

Exactly what I was looking for, pretty classic crew neck sweatshirt. I'd say it's somewhere between a slim & relaxed fit, and it feels solidly constructed.

The cotton fabric is very soft and comfortable, but the fit is very narrow through the torso and at the waist, too confining.

I’m 5’8 at 150 lbs average athletic build and this was a wee bit tight with a button down shirt underneath. It’s still great for being outdoors while keeping warm and mobile. Can’t go wrong a classic grey sweat shirt! Definitely worth it to grab it during a sale.
