Linen bucket hat with ties

This is such a cute summer hat, I just wish the ties were a bit shorter or easier to tuck in

The ties are way too long, and it does not look cute when I tie them or leave them down. The hat itself looks awkward when I wear it because the crown is a bit too long. I got the small size and it is a little snug. Disappointed as I bought final sale and cannot return.

I bought this for a trip to Bermuda and it was amazing!! Not too big not too small and I love that it comes with the ties! Also got so many compliments!!

I purchased this early July and it’s been my go to every time I am in the sun. The fir is great(size small) and provides great protection from the sun! Plus it’s looks cute on!

I had very specific requirements for this hat and it has been what I wanted and more. I wanted a hat that I could wear while driving my roadster which required it to have room for my hair while it was tied up and also to keep it from tangling while worn down. I wanted a hat that was white to reflect more sun than it attracted. I needed it to have a wide brim for shade, but not so wide that it narrowed my peripheral vision. I needed exactly enough to just shade my face and neck. I also required it to be sturdy enough not to flop around in the wind too much and it needed some manner of tying under my chin so it wouldn’t fly off. Quite to my surprise and delight this is that hat. The sturdy linen fabric holds its shape well, but allows the brim to be shaped down or up, so I can fold it up to see clearly while driving and wear it as a wide-brim sun hat when out of the car, as well. The ties also hold extraordinarily taught even when I’ve not made a knot, but simply folded one over the other. The hat is ingenious for my use and I’m very excited as you can surmise.
