Very odd cut: does not fit as shown in photos
February 20, 2025I read the description & the review of this "cropped bouclè jacket." Reviewers said this jacket was boxy, thick, and had long sleeves, I thought those things are all fine with me. I ordered the XS as the reivews said it ran large. Upon receiving it: it is indeed a thicker boucle material-not thin. I am fine with the thicker material (one person wrote it is scratchy but I would wear this with a shirt or sweater underneath it). It is a boxy cut and pretty short crop with long arms (which works for my body type) YET: the pockets are right under the breasts (and I'm only a 34B) so I can imagine that is a strange fit for many and the closure is not centered. Sadly, I bought this as a final sale and it is not returnable nor very wearable (even with taking sides in). It is a very strangely constructed/fitting jacket. I will not buy a jacket on line from J Crew again, that is final sale, unless I've already tried it on & liked it in a store. I am 5'5" 112 lbs.: bottom line: I do not recommend this jacket.
