Fitted Flare Pants
June 17, 2023Form fitting like stretch yoga pants. Size up bc narrow at waist & thighs. However, pants are too long for shorties & need petite size. Can’t hem legs bc has 6” inch zippers at flare. Risky if don’t try on before purchase.

The Perfect Trouser
May 13, 2023I actually bought these trousers to wear on a very long flight. So comfortable. No wrinkles. I’m wearing them frequently and receive compliments from friends and persons I don’t know. They are in my “most favorite closet section.” Good job, J Crew!

If you’re a minimalist…these are for you
May 6, 2023I can’t say enough about these pants. They are high waisted perfection. I love the zippers on the bottom which allow you to be a little edgy with them open or zipped up to accommodate your boots or shoes. I have this paired with a vintage Jcrew sleeveless turtleneck, but you can put just about anything with it and look instantly put together. I purchased an extra small and they are perfect.

That darn zipper!
March 7, 2023The material and overall fit of these pants is great. The ponte knit is substantial, moves and fits well. Problem is the back zipper. I read all the reviews about the zipper not moving smoothly but ended up buying anyway, only to mentally punch myself when I encountered the same problem. Instant buyers remorse when I couldn’t get the zipper up over the back waistband, where there’s a lip of material. And good luck with working the hook and eye blind from behind. The design could be more user friendly, like on the side, where I can see what I’m doing. In the end, I couldn’t give these pants up because of the style and material. When I was successfully zipped in, about 5 frustrating minutes later, they looked great and were very flattering.

Flare-leg trouser in Italian ponte
February 15, 2023Absolutely LOVE these pants! They are the perfect length and fit. I would buy in other colors. I am 5'6 125 lbs. I bought an XS knowing they might be a little bit tight (that is okay) but the perfect length.

MAGIC Pants
January 12, 2023Can't rave about these enough. Pant sizing is hard for me because I am pear/hourglass with a smaller waist and wider hip/thighs/butt and my size seems to be fluctuating a lot lately, but these pants immediately conformed to my body in the best way! I got a medium (I'm size 6/8, 30 in waist and 40 inch hips) and feel like they could work with me if I lose (or gain) weight. The hidden wide elastic band on the waist keeps them up and the high quality fabric smooths, sculpts, and stretches to make my curvy legs look long and lean. MAGICAL. These do have a yoga pant shape (and comfort) to them but styled with a nice structured top these give instant cool-girl factor to this mid 30-something that's still appropriate for my law firm workplace. I want to wear them everywhere.
