The perfect skirt set
November 22, 2024I bought this for my daughter and she looked amazing in the set. It was sophisticated yet youthful.

Elevated linen for summer
June 27, 2023Although I generally wear a S the only one left in store was M so I took a chance. Slightly looser fit so it’s just fine! Love the fringe. It will go perfectly with linen pants and sandals for an upscale casual summer look.

Unique and classy
June 17, 2023I wish this outfit had not been sold as separates, but alas. Though I am not always a fan of linen, I had to have this, and truly should have gotten an XS but it was sold out. No issue with arm holes even with a size up, and the matching skirt makes for a very elegant summer outfit. Yes you can see the yoke lining on the top, but it doesn't bother me. Price point is high though.

Could be great
June 6, 2023Love the style of this top, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. First, the armholes are so low that any undergarment you wear will be on display. More irritating, though, is that the top is a single layer of relatively thin linen that is then folded over around the neckline and the arm holes with no lining, meaning the outline of the doubled-up fabric is clearly visible when you wear the top. You can see a hint of this on the model in the photograph around the neckline, but the real-life effect is much starker. I'm beginning to wonder if J.Crew is using actual humans when they fit test their garments, because the cost of this top not matched by its quality, fit, or its design, and this has become an unfortunate trend among a few pieces I've purchased (and returned) lately.
