44 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers love this brushed cashmere Fair Isle sweater for its super-soft feel, warm thickness, and gorgeous festive colors and pattern. The quality comes through strongly, and many say it looks beautiful in person and gets lots of compliments. Fit-wise, it’s generally described as roomy, boxy, or a little cropped, so some customers suggest sizing down if they want a less oversized look. A few customers also found the shoulder/neckline area a bit unusual, but overall it’s seen as a cozy, high-quality winter sweater.

Soft!
February 28, 2025Beautiful sweater, and so soft. Runs slightly small in the shoulders due to the fair isle yolk, but fits true to size in general.

Amazing sweater - luxurious, soft, warm.
February 23, 2025I bought this because my wife suggested I get one after she got hers. Got mine in the white color and when I wear it I get so many compliments. Thank you J Crew for continuing to make premium sweaters like this in plus sizes so all of your customers can enjoy premium materials like this AMAZING cashmere.

pretty but weird fit
February 22, 2025I wished I had paid more attention to the negative reviews because I have the same issue as many of them do. The fit on this sweater is just plain odd ,to the point of being uncomfortable. I've had this problem years ago with another JCrew fair isle sweater . I think it has to do with the fair isle knit .The neckline slopes up like a volcano shape. Sort of looks like I don't have shoulders or I'm built like a line backer. The neck opening does not sit on my neck, it's above. It also pulls at the point in the arms where the pattern and color of the knit changes. So disappointed because even on sale its not cheap. The pattern is pretty and I love brushed cashmere but I really wish I had not bought this on final sale.
