Cashmere shrunken crewneck in cable knit

I've been waiting for a pink cable-knit cashmere sweater for a LONG time. I was so happy to see this. Except for the the cropped style. And that it wasn't "heathered". I ordered it in a large, thinking it would give me a little length. I'm just under 5'8" and weigh around 150 with broad shoulder, 36D and long-waisted. It works with all the high-waisted pants I have from jcrew. I'm used to wearing the brushed cashmere the past three years; I have 9 of them and have gifted friends with them over the years (two are short sleeved tee style). This yarn is a nice weight, feels good and not too heavy (I do live in Hawaii, tho higher elevation from sea level). I think sometimes customers take the cashmere out of the bag without understanding that it comes alive in COOL temperatures and letting it breathe for a day or two makes it happy and soft. The fit is loose, but has a nice drape; its the big sleeves that I've had to adjust to. but these are o.k. I have been wanting a pink brushed cashmere and days after ordering this one I saw the "windy blossom" pink brushed; I will be ordering that, too. These make me happy. And wearing them here and on the mainland, it appears they make other people happy, too! Its more than a compliment; people, especially men, have questions. Many people "pet" them. I have cashmere from jcrew that are over 20 years old and I still love them, some still look great; I wear them at home until no longer wearable and they then go into a bag for little projects.

Perfect sweater. I love the navy color.

Love this fit. Not cropped but not too long. Looks great with jeans or a skirt!
