July 10, 2020Paper thin and pretty shapless. I'm so glad I've got some curves to give it some shape. The belt is prettey useless. The one thing I love is the colorful happy floral print. Works under a denim jacket

Perfect for a hot summer day!
June 20, 2020Based on other reviews re the shapelessness of this dress, I was hesitant to purchase. Belted, I don't think it is shapeless. Agree it runs a bit large (I would have purchased a small but it was sold out), and the belt is long, but I think the belt is intentionally long as part of the style. Straps are adjustable which helped with the sizing. I wore this dress recently, felt great in it, and received so many compliments!

June 10, 2020This dress fits to the causal look without belt. With belt, the dress becomes the lady-like and the belt is made by two layers of ties very strongly. I like this dress so much because I can choose to relax without belt or fit with the belt. The fabric pic has a little flowers with the fine sculpture and looks brighter than the web picture.

Cute Summer Dress!
May 20, 2020Apart from the fact that this runs large (I normally wear XS but purchased this in XXS) and that the supplied belt is far too long/bulky, this dress is fantastic! The Liberty print is bright and beautiful and the dress design is so cute, and not too short. I actually prefer to wear it without a belt as I like the loose silhouette, but it's very easy to unbraid the matching belt and just tie one of the strands around to create a more fitted look.

April 13, 2020The prod. description states "Our swingy sensation is so ready..." but this Liberty fabric is just like the Liberty shirts and not at all "swingy". It is a "Mini Dress" and when belted to fit my waist, from the belt down, the extra fabric poofs/billows out in an unattractive way -coupled w/the ruffles and short length, it looks like a Crewcuts aged dress. The dress is too full to wear without the braided belt/tie. (Think as wide as the multi-tiered dresses without any shape.) They need to scrap this and start over -no way to make it work. Reviewers Trixie and raenb are accurate.

Shapeless Sack Dress
March 16, 2020This is a shapeless sack dress. Waist definition is achieved by wearing the overly-heavy braided belt, which bunches the material at the waist in an unflattering way. There are no belt loops on the dress, so the belt is not anchored when worn and thus will not stay put. I generally wear size medium or large, and the medium in this formless dress was too large.
