Knee-high riding boots in leather

Beautiful quality but run large. I usually have to size down 1/2 size in J.Crew shoes, which I did with these but my foot was still lifting up in the back and the ankles run loose so foot was rubbing quite a bit when trying to walk in them. Like the simple style of these and quality but the fit was off

Very nice boots. I had to size down 1/2 a size. They are slightly snug across the top of the foot but not uncomfortable and think it will stretch as it breaks in. They seem well made and look so nice. It’s not cold enough to wear yet so I’ve only tried they on and walked around in them for a bit around my house but they seem very nice.

5’0-85lbs-11 1/2” calves. Purchased my usual size 5. The boots are casual mat finish leather, semi-structured (slight slouch iif more fitted around calf), standard footboard width. 14 1/2” shaft height and 14” circumference. The quality fits the bill. Roomy, but not oversized like other riding boots.
