Satin sandals with ankle wraps

I ordered these to wear to my engagement party as they would go perfectly with my dress. I can either be a 9 or 9.5 shoe but Based on other reviews I sized up to 9.5 which I think was the right choice. I really wanted to LOVE these shoes but the tie is a pain. It stays up for maybe 10 minutes. I wore these to an event where we had to walk a bit and while they are comfy, the ties kept dropping down. I re-tired them again and again and tied so tight each time. At my party I eventually took them off cause I was over them. When I wear again I may try double sided tape to keep the straps up because half the look is the tie up the ankle and it looks sloppy when they fall down!

I'd been watching these for some time and decided to buy, I wear a size 11 in shoes but knew from experience with JCrew to size up. I bought the 12 and they are absolutely perfect and feel great on, super comfortable for heels and the satin feels amazing on my skin, now I want them in that pink/peach color. Very happy!

The color of this shoe is amazing! The stacked heel makes it comfortable. If you're between sizes, size up. To avoid the shoe flopping like a flip flop on the heel as you walk, you have to tie it very tightly around your ankle. One thing I would change about this is the thickness of the tie. It's a little difficult to make a pretty bow and you can see the seam. Also the tie arrived wrinkled so I'm going to try to steam it first.
