A nod to color and pattern
February 2, 2021Pros: the lovely color, the rich look of the herringbone pattern, the good construction and inside pocket, the nice long length. Cons: the scratchiness of the wool that pokes through the lining, the placket to hide the buttons on the sleeves does not work (a tailored jacket like this is not a roll-up-sleeves candidate IMHO). Not my fav but I kept it for the color.

Gorgeous for Autumn
November 11, 2020Love the fit & style of this blazer. I can tell it's great quality, and I love the lining & buttons. I don't love the pink felt under the collar, but it will rarely be seen when I wear it. The wool is also scratchier than I anticipated; it can be felt through the lining (especially in the bend of my arm). The fabric is beautiful! I love the label inside stating what it is & where it's from. Minor complaints for an otherwise happy purchase!

Autumn perfection
October 15, 2020Love love love this jacket. Beautifully made and finished with lining that glides on and off. The colour is somewhere between the rust autumn shades and the Merlot tonings so perfect when I wear both “warm” and “cool” colours. I found it true to size and flattering on the dreaded Apple shape but think it would work well on all shapes. Will definitely be a keeper

Perfect burgundy wool blazer
October 13, 2020Agree with prior reviewer. Well made wool blazer. Size is a bit more oversized compared to Parke blazer, but length was a tad shorter. I did not have time to measure actual length. The wool is herringbone, not tweed. The size is supposed to be styled a bit oversized, so if you want a more fitted look I would size down. I tried both the teal and burgundy herringbone in store. Both have the same heft, thinner compared to wool blazers prior to 2018, but good quality for this price point. I went with the teal since I felt it would work with my darker pants and skirts. (for now). I might have to re-think this and get the burgundy too....if I can't get it out of mind.
