High-rise short with nautical knot embroidery

These are perfect shorts! I can wear these to work on casual days (I work in a creative field) and still feel pulled together. They look great with sandals, flats, heels, and wedges. Flattering color, not stark white, and the little rope detail is precious. I love how the ends have loose tassels as a rope does. The fabric is weighty and still cool. I ordered a 14 and I actually need a 12, so I'll have to take them in, but they still wear beautifully and drape well. I'm tall and long-legged and these don't feel too short, and they actually sit on my waist instead of on the top of my hips like a lot of "high-waisted" things claim, which is great because I'm hourglass-shaped. I would love to see more of these shorts in different patterns and colors because I'd buy every pair!

I am so smitten. Audrey Hepburn meets Marilyn Monroe size. For a curvy girl...style, quality, design, and size all meet. I am even happy that these felt roomier to me than any other short in the same size this season, yet are extraordinarily crisp and structured. Definitely a sophisticated, tailored short anyone should want for their summer wardrobe. Dress up or down!
