July 28, 2020These are cute, about a 5" in seam. Not too short. I felt they ran a little small. But I find the sizing is all over the place with jcrew. The cotton is super soft and they're breathable. I didnt mind the ruffles on the pocket but I do see where they can appear to add bulk. I did end up returning.

Fun and cool shorts for summer
June 29, 2020I love these Liberty print shorts. They are lightweight and cool for hot summer days and I love the slightly high waist on them. The print is fun. I'm so glad I bought these!

Fun Ruffled Shorts
June 19, 2020Beautiful Liberty print shorts, love the ruffle detail at waistband and pockets. Fully lined. Run tts, ordered in my usual size 0 (5'4", 120 lbs) and they fit like a glove. For a more relaxed fit, I would advise sizing up (I felt that there was some minor shrinkage after washing and air-drying, as they felt a teeny bit more snug post-wash). As the other reviewer has said, due to the ruffled edging, the pockets do stick out a bit, but this doesn't bother me. (Note: while in the description it states these have a side zip, they actually have a fly front zip as per the photo.)

Flattering summer short
May 22, 2020Was hesitant to purchase these, as there were no reviews and I've found sizing to be all over the place with some J.Crew pieces. However, I have found these to be true to size and fit great! I am 5'6" and 130 lbs, athletic build. I will mention that the pockets stick out a bit and highlight your hips, so that could be good or bad based on your body type. Comfy enough to play on the floor in with my kids, but a little shorter than expected. About an inch and a half higher than my fingertips, when my hands are down. Super cute and wash well! Would totally recommend.
