Customers consistently love these chino shorts for their classic look, flattering 4" length, and easy everyday wear. They’re praised for being comfortable, well-made, and available in lots of fun colors that work well dressed up or down. Fit is mostly true to size, though some customers suggest sizing up or down since the cut can run a little small or large depending on the color and pair. Overall, they’ve become a go-to summer staple for many customers who keep coming back for more colors.

Thin and Flimsy
July 5, 2017They changed the material and it is SUCH a disappointment. So thin and insubstantial. The petal color is COMPLETELY transparent. The old chinos were awesome because they fit well and the material was great. Really bummed that they changed and now I have to find new go-to shorts.

Love the Shorts.....mostly
February 22, 2017I am a huge fan of j crew chino shorts. I ordered four pairs of the clearance items for a great price! All were perfect fit and same size. The issue was with the khaki colored pair. I could tell upon sight they were larger than the others of size 00. When I put them on the waist was at least one inch wider than the others. The problem is I can't return or exchange as they were final sale items. So although a great product the sizing can be erratic. When you are ordering final sale that can be problematic. Especially if you are ordering your normal size and the items appears to have been incorrectly sized.

NO MORE VANITY SIZING, PLEASE!
January 13, 2017J. Crew, if you're going to oversize your shorts, please pick a standard and stick with it. Within two years, I've gone from a 6, to a 4, to a 2 in these shorts; and not because I've lost weight. Also, the quality of the shorts I just bought is WAY lower than in previous years. Thinner fabric, poor stitching. Boo.
