Best pencil skirt on the market
November 14, 2023I own 4 of these skirts, white and light blue. I love that it has enough stretch to be comfortable but retains its professional shape through the day, and even several wears if left hanging up. I wear it in the summer with blouses and lightweight jackets or when it gets colder (that’s 60’s in Florida) with sweaters. It hits right at the knee and looks flattering and professional. I like this skirt in a size 6, although I wear J Crew dresses in a size 4. I could probably pull off a 4, but like a little room to breathe in my professional attire.

Shrinks after wash
October 22, 2023Sort reviews by most recent! This is a classic skirt that JC carries year over year so the reviews include all the batches from the beginning of time. I love the skirt, the fit, it’s lined, the thickness of the fabric!! So, this year the skirt shrinks like three sizes when you wash it and it’s not a dry clean piece. If you can buy it on clearance it may be worth it! I still send it to the cleaners so they can press it and stretch it for me but purchase a couple of sizes bigger to account for the shrinkage.
