Authentic camp socks

If I'd have wanted to wear socks made of rope, I'd have got my kitchen twine and knitting needles together. These socks give me blisters if I wear them with shoes (I wish that were hyperbole -- it is not). They have not softened after washing. Only purchase these socks if you: - Enjoy chafing and discomfort - Don't mind your boyfriend saying (while rubbing your socks) "Wow, you're really going to wear these, huh?" - Intend to pay a premium for what will eventually become a cleaning rag So disappointed.

These socks are not as thick, warm, or soft as I thought they'd be. I would not purchase them again, even on sale.

This years camp socks are ok, good even! They will definitely keep your tootsies warm, they play perfectly with pajamas or boots, they come in seemingly more colors than ever, and they seem very hearty, knitwise. They are not, however, as soft and cozy as last year's model. And so, while I will wear them, I can't help feeling they should be more like my old beloved pair. Ma sock vie, c'est un peu triste.
