Jackie tie-neck cardigan sweater in stripes

I don't own a lot of tops in stripes but I loved the unexpected combo of cream, tan and navy . I thought it looked so preppy but also trendy. The fit for me is true to size but I am petite (5'2, 100) and usually buy regular sizes in store. I don't like to order online since I can't try on and sometimes clothes come wrinkled in the mail. For reference, I bought this in the xxs regular and it fits snug. One size up also fit for a looser look and layering but I ended up buying the more snug fit.

I ordered my normal size and it barley came below my belly button, and fits so snug, the buttons pulled apart. Looks babyish and for a little girl. Not what the picture depicts at all. Can't return because it is final sale

Love the cardigan. The shape was just perfect and flattering. It holds its shape really well. The color and style is beautiful and could be worn at work and during the weekend. The wool is really fine gauge, soft and comfy. This will be my new favorite piece, thanks!

I was so excited to order this item. I love jcrew tops with ruffles and bows. In the past I always bought their sweaters with tie/bows around the neck or the waist. They add a little signature to the outfit. I was disappointed with this top because the bow/tie is made of cheap material. Just looking at the item in the bag (before I unpacked it) I noticed the fabric around the neck and the tie/bow is flimsy and look cheap. From a distance its not noticeable and if you haven't been a customer of jcrew for a long time you wouldn't know what to expect. Disappointed! I was even planning on purchasing other colors and the non-cardigan style. And for the price they sell this for almost a rip off. This should be sold in the jcrew factory under clearance.

This was a disappointment. I ordered the medium which is my regular size in all J Crew clothing. Sadly, buttoned down the front... the sweater completely puckered from top to bottom. I do not have a large chest by any means. Clearly this is a design flaw. I like the style so much I am thinking of going up to the large in hopes that it will fit properly.

Purchased both color options. I found this sweater to be true to size, not small, as others have stated. Nice twist on a classic cardigan. For reference: I'm 5'1, 100#, ordered the XS...
