Classy and so soft
April 28, 2019I bought this on a whim because it was on a pretty good sale. The only sizes available were medium and xxs. I am 5’10 and about 150lbs, 32DD so not a small person by any means. I read the other reviews and saw that it ran large and decided to take a chance on the xxs. Glad I did because even xxs is a little roomy on my tall frame. I got the pink color which is a little deeper in person but that’s fine because it’s still a beautiful color. I have a short torso and longer legs so it hits me about mid thigh. Would repurchase again but definitely get a couple sizes down!

Pills like CRAZY!
February 28, 2019Beautiful, soft and super-warm on first, second and third wear. After that, looks old, pilly and a bit tattered. For the price and reputation of J Crew’s quality, I expected more. (I still wear it under my coat, for extra warmth but wouldn’t wear to impress. I guess I should be using the pill remover gadget thingy, but who has time for that!?) 5’4”/130lbs

Pilled within one wear
February 10, 2019I wish I loved this sweater. There are things I love about it: it's soft, and warm - and I love a belted cardigan. The things that don't work are that it runs VERY large (reading comments and reordering the correct size helped) and it begins to pill after one wear. It's the sort of sweater that you want to wear every day, but it pills so easily and looks so ratty (genuinely, after ONE wear) that you want to wear it every day for the warmth and comfort, but you rarely wear it, because it looks terrible. I'm pretty bummed, because it was not cheap, yet it wears cheap.
