Ruffle bikini top

So I’m returning this top because for some reason, bikini tops are always made to do nothing for people with actual boobs. This one is the same. I am a 36 DD and I ordered a L and i can’t make the band smaller, but even if I could I don’t think there’d be any support. My girls fall out the bottom of this top. If I sized down, it would be way too small to cover them and there would still be no support. I’m starting to come to the conclusion that I should just literally buy a neoprene bra (do they make those? Going to Google that in a bit here) or wear a sports bra or some rad boob-uplifting lingerie as my bikini top cuz thissss is ALWAYS the same story in my experience.

I have been a die hard J.Crew bathing suit wearer for several years. I have never had an issue with their bathing suits fading or the color bleeding. However, this is the second bathing suit I’ve purchased this year from J.Crew that the dye has transferred to other fabric while wearing the suit after swimming/while wet. I follow the care instructions but the suit is already fading after only a few wears. I’m frustrated because I have J.Crew suits that are several years old that still look new, but I don’t think this one will last even though it is super cute and comfortable! Please fix this quality issue!

This has become my favorite bikini top ever! So cute & comfortable! I love that it is modest too, with the straight top instead of a V shape. For a reference I do think it is running slightly small. I usually wear an XS in JCrew, but with 34C, ordered a M and it fits perfectly!
