Broken-in Straight chino pant
The Broken-in Straight chino is a fresh take on our '90s catalog classic, built in midweight 8.5-ounce 100 percent cotton twill that has a soft, lived-in feel right from the first wear, thanks to a special wash process. They're a little lighter than our Classic chino but a bit heavier than our stretch chinos. The fit lands in the sweet spot between 770 Straight and the roomier Classic, with a longer rise and a 16" leg opening. A mainstay in any rotation, they're made to look as good years from now as they do today.

Great 100% cotton option
3 days agoBig fan of these as someone who is looking to get away from any polyester-infused pants in general as something to wear to the office. A bit of a higher rise to these which might take some getting used to when sitting at the desk all day, but very comfortable. Not too thick either which is actually a good thing for year-round wear. Nice quality with the French bearer button, expecting these to last a while.

3 days agoThe return of Broken-in straight cut pants. Couldn’t come soon enough. These are 100% cotton and a reminder of why that was so popular for so long. They are breathable, durable, and don’t have that clingy slinky feel that blended fabric stretchy pants have. 5 stars. Hopefully JCrew releases the shorts too.

No attention to detail
4 days agoI purchased the pants a couple weeks ago and have noticed loose threads everywhere, the buttons feel cheap and loose, and the pockets are shallow. My phone barely fits in the front pocket and protrudes from my back pocket. And the consistent lack of any sizes below 30” waists has been an inconvenience, before getting to the fact that the pants run inexplicably large in the waist to begin with.

Classic Chinos
5 days agoI bought a 29x30 in Catskill Green and Navy, and found they fit true to size. The overall fit is a classic straight-fit (not the modern 'straight' that's more of a slim-straight that you see at other retailers) with a very slight taper. For reference, the leg opening is a little over 7.5 inches. The rise is excellent as well, allowing for the pants to sit at the waist comfortably. In comparison, I found the fit similar to the original Orvis Ultimate Khaki albeit with the slight taper around the leg opening that I mentioned. The colors were also solid, with the green being a very classic fatigue-y green and the navy being a deep, dark blue. Overall, I'd recommend these pants for a nice classic chino! I am a smaller guy with a very thin waist and found that these pants provided the wider, classic fit without making it look like I was swimming in them.
