Slim dock pant in cotton-linen

I chose "slightly small" because they're too short, the waist size seems OK. I hope JCrew listens to this opinion. I really love the clothes here in general but in the last several years I've been seeing sizing that only gives a S-XXL for the waist with no regard for length & it's always NOT a good thing for me. I can't be alone. I'm 6"3' with a 35/36 waist. By the chart I should be a L which is cool but I know my legs are long so I get the XL to make up for it. I figure casual drawstring pants can be a little loose but I get these in XL & the length is still too short. They're just slightly below "mid way" down my shin. Higher than shown on the model which is all I have to go on. It's a final sale and I'll find a way to make them look ok but Jcrew, PLEASE stop assuming there's a general length for pants. If anything make them a little longer because, hey, there's free alterations with the card, right? Other than that the material feels good and I like the pale brown color.

The website copy should have indicated that these pants have a bell-bottom cut. I have athletic legs and the pants fit perfectly everywhere except the calves where the fabric was uncomfortably tight and then flared out again to the pant bottoms.

Very lightweight and breathable. Would like to see these in more colors

Not sure about the other reviews but I love this pant and which they came in a million more colors!!!!!!

I agree 100% with the above review about the fit. Couldn’t think of how to describe it, but the bit about the crotch being too baggy is correct. Not only do they look weird, but walking around is awkward as the fabric moves.

I absolutely love the Dock Shorts and have about 10 pairs of them so I was excited to try the new Dock Pants... They looked terrible. The fit is all wrong, The crotch is too long and hung too low. I felt like I was wearing pajama pants. Not a chic daytime look!
