6 customer reviewsWhat customers are saying:
Customers seem to really like the soft, cool-feeling fabric and the sturdy zipper and details, and several said it works nicely as a shirt or a light layer for spring and fall. The style gets strong marks overall, with people describing it as a dressed-up flannel that looks good with jeans or khakis and has a clean, rugged vibe. Fit is generally in the normal range, though some customers preferred a roomier cut and taller customers suggested the body length could be a touch longer. Overall, it comes across as a versatile, comfortable piece with a vintage workwear feel.

Burlap sack
December 31, 2021I wear almost all JCREW. All my jeans, my flannels, etc, but this shirt is horrible. That's probably why it was on a sale that's non-refundable or exchangeable. It's like wearing a burlap sack. Not at all like the great cotton flannels I have from JCREW, even though this one is cotton. I hate it and won't be wearing it. Also, unlike other JCREW shirts, it shrunk a ton since the quality is so poor. Total waste of money.

December 27, 2021I expected better quality than I got. Fabric is actually light weight, so don't expect warmth, California beach spring/summer weight. Why did factory not match plaid at seams? Sloppy manufacturing, not up to J Crew standards. Purchased for my husband.

Dressed up flannel
December 26, 2021Great quality and looks like a dressed up flannel. Not quite a jacket, but a step up from an untucked button down. Looks great with both khaki pants and jeans. I bought this for my 18 yo son - 6'4" and lean - in a size XL which fit him well. He would have preferred about an inch more in length in the body (was shorter on him than model in photo but sleeves were perfect). The XL fit slightly boxy on him, but L was too short everywhere. Looks great on.
