Wallace & Barnes boiled merino wool jacquard chore jacket

I purchased this woolen jacket as an advance Christmas present for my fashion-forward husband who loves vintage styles. It was a big hit, and has already been won on numerous trips to the grocery store and outdoor market in our urban neighborhood. The jacket is quite distinctive, and as with some other J Crew merchandise, it is much better in real life than in the picture. Highly recommended.

Thought the sweater jacket was a rust orange color, but it arrived as coffee brown and was nicer in quality and style than the picture. I’ve dressed it up for Teams/Zoom meetings and worn it out with jeans. A great addition to any man’s closet.
