Sweet boat shoes

Stylish and Comfortable for Walking Around NYC
September 20, 2026These suede lake shoes are an excellent choice for New York City. They were comfortable right out of the box, and the Vibram sole provides solid cushioning and traction for walking from Battery Park to SoHo. The suede looks refined enough to wear with chinos or linen pants, but the relaxed camp-shoe design also works well with jeans or shorts. They slip on and off easily and feel lightweight without seeming flimsy. The fit is generally true to size, although I would consider going down half a size if wearing them without socks because the suede may stretch. They’re a sharp, versatile everyday shoe—just save them for dry days in the city.
