These boots are amazing! Great quality and color and hope to use them for many years to come. A timeless look

[Employee of jcrew] Love these boots! Beautiful leather, quality construction, and great color that goes with anything. I wear these to work with a pair of cuffed chinos, and on the weekend with some dark denim. note: they do require some breaking in, but worth it.

Had been looking for a pair of boots with a Goodyear welt that wouldn't break the bank and luckily these were on sale as well as in my size. Comfortable, stylish, and worth at least double what I paid. Only gripe would be some creasing pretty early on and dealing with some ankle chafing on one foot (I'm sure it's more a foot sizing thing than build quality), but aside from that really satisfied with the boots and pleasantly surprised at how good of a product they are for being put on such a deep discount.

Based on my experience: Size: The boots are a little bit smaller than the size states. In my experience, order them half a size up. Quality: Great in every aspect. The leather quality is top notch for the price; tough and reliable pullup leather (at least it seems to be; I’m not an expert), a little stiff at first so they will need some break in time. The sole is good quality, resolable too; great deal. Just a great pair of boots at a fair price.

Quality: exceptional for the price. Specially if you get it with some discount applied. Great leather quality (rigid at first), finest quality sole (it could be resoled), stitching on place. A fine piece, a good quality product. Fit: runs a little bit small. I purchased half size up; fits nice. Comfort: the leather, as it is thick and smooth, will need some break in time. So, the boots will be the kind of rigid shoe at first; I didn't expect it to be different since the product is absolutely rugged and ready to take whatever you throw at it. Conclusion. It worth it; even at full price. But, if you can have this boots at some discount, just take them. I did not regret my purchase.

These are great to buy when on sale. One note, they fit noticeably tighter than previous years in thr same size. J CREW, please fix consistency issues! Thanks.
