A classic that'll be great forever!
February 8, 2021This latest black Ludlow loafer (I have 4 or 5 pair) should be my last for a while. All of my colors are covered now, lol. Soooo, you should be able to clearly tell that I really appreciate this shoe. It's very sturdy. You can see and feel the quality in this shoe. It feels like it'll be with me forever and if it does wear out I can and will get it resoled to then give it a whole new life. You can't really go wrong with a good loafer and these, for me, are them. They're surprisingly comfortable out of the box to be so thick and sturdy. If you can't get to a store to try them on to see how they fit you specifically I'd suggest you size down a 1/2 size. Once I get em a little broken-in and then shined they will be exactly like I need them to be. I wanted to post some pictures of them but there's no "click-em" to let me upload them.

Disappointing...
January 30, 2021I know it’s final sale when I got this, but it truly sucks that the sizing was off for these shoes. I wish I could have been more careful about this. Disappointing...because I really liked the style of these shoes. Now I am trying to find a way to sell these online to get my money back. Would have loved to have kept these shoes if I had gotten the sizing right. Lesson learned: Don’t buy shoes when it’s on sale; no matter how nice it looks.

Go half size down
November 11, 2020I usually wear 8.5. I purchased my usual size and I had to return them. Went half size down and they fit perfect. I was looking for a traditional design and I got it. The brown colour is nice, not shiny at all. This is a plus since these loafers are somewhere between casual and formal. One last thing to remark: The leather is stiff and will require some use to break in. Overall, very happy with this purchase as I got them at half price during a sale event.
