Alden® for J.Crew suede split-toe bluchers

These shade Alden bluchers are extremely handsome and comfortable. They took about two days to break in, but now the insole feels like it’s molded to my foot. I have gotten a lot of compliments on these shoes, as they do stand out a bit. I like to pair them with dark jeans for a smart casual look, but they can easily be paired with chinos or even a linen or seersucker suit in the summer. One thing to note is that the stitching on the toes was not identical on my pair of shoes; the stitching on the right toe was a bit off-center and more toward my instep. But that is the nature of handcrafted shoes and it doesn’t detract from their appearance at all.
