Collection lady day topcoat in faux patent leather

Thanks to the previous review I ordered a size up(4) from my usual lady coat size 2 . I am 128lbs 5'6" 34b. When compared to my size 2 cloth lady coat from winter 2022 this faux patent leather version in size 4 was the same size in the waist but a bit longer in length and sleeve length. Also agree that it is a bit plasticky but it's kind of fun, shiny and different too.

Nope. I didn't realize that this was a lady day topcoat when I ordered it. With the coat open on the model, it didn't look as fitted. I always have to go up a size in this style. If you love this cut, you might really like this jacket. But for me, while the design and construction are solid--the fabric is not. It's a faux patent, but it feels more like a gummy Hefty bag on. It reads more raincoat than overcoat. And it is very mod. If all this sounds swingin' London in the rain to you, in a good way--I can recommend this coat, in the next size up!
