Lovely but they run super small!
August 12, 2026These are such nice jeans—great wash, great weight, great length. But, holy smokes, do they run SMALL! My usual size (final sale, online order) feels at least two sizes too small. I can’t even button them. I do not have this issue with any of my other J.Crew jeans, with or without stretch. Either I got a pair with an incorrect size label, or these are cut for a slender-thighs, straight-hips, flat-butt body type. Order up a size or two if you’re at all curvy.

Get it before its gone
August 5, 2026Similar to the Levis 90s straight. Mid weight denim with no stretch. This is not a loose fitting jean, it has a more classic mid rise and straight cut. Hugs the body but doesnt constrict, its slightly relaxed especially on the thighs. I found it TTS for this style. And almost identical in fit to the new Jesse jean (even their descriptions are almost word for word.) But without the annoying fake-distressed spots. Now at a fraction of the price of the Jesse, and with a half inch longer inseam. Yes!! Wish it came in more washes. The cut is perfectly vintage.

Perfect midrise
July 21, 2026I bought these once before at full price and had to return them because they had been cut wrong so the seams on one leg were twisting. When they went on sale I tried again because I love the fit and wash and this pair is perfect! I prefer a midrise and a stiffer denim that stretches naturally due to wear and not stretch material content. These fit the bill! They’re a little long and heavy for peak summer but I can’t wait to wear them in the cooler months.
