Wide-leg pant in drapey gingham

I ordered these pants in both colors and absolutely Love everything about the. The style, fit, quality are all great!

I love a vintagey looking wide leg pant, but the red gingham paired with the grey blue was just off for me. I might get them in the black.

I just received my red/light blue gingham pants....and I am in love! Please note that they are NOT red & white...the red is slightly orangey and the blue is very pale. The red is very close to the J Crew color called “Brilliant Sunset” found in t shirts and the silk crew neck top. I plan to style with a chambray/denim top or with the brilliant sunset silk crew neck top.. Also note the inseam is only 29 1/2 for the Classic fit. I purchased the tall 32 1/2” and will be perfect to wear a slight heel. I am 5’ 7” with a 32 inch inseam legs and I weigh 166 lbs. I am 63 so I carry a little more weight in my middle.

I love gingham and have many gingham items in my closet, so it was no surprise that these popped into my shopping bag! I usually wear a size 0 in J.Crew bottoms but in these slacks, I needed the size 00 as they do run large. Also, they run a little short in the length. I am 5'4" and these pants fit perfectly in my bare feet so I had to lengthen to accommodate a slight heel. There is a 2" hem to adjust the length so keep that in mind if you are over 5'6" as these pants might not work for you. The fabric is light and airy and can be worn comfortably during hot and humid days.

I was surprised when I received these in the mail, I thought the gingham would be red and white, not red and light blue. I kept them anyway, the fit is great TTS. I am 5'6 160 and purchased a size 10 for reference.

I love the style of these pants and the blue and red check. I was just a bit disappointed with the quality. They looked fuller and more drapey online. I've worn them with a denim shirt, which brings out the blue and now I'm just waiting for the English weather to cooperate so I can wear them again.
