Denim popover shirt in Billy wash

If you already have a denim shirt, you can still get this pull on style to your wardrobe. It’s a lighter weight chambray which it’s great for warmer months but also to wear under a sweater or sweatshirt without having the bulk of buttons and heavier fabric.

I had to find a denim shirt for a new job, and this one caught me eye due to the tunic styling as opposed to a typical button down. Seeing that it is on final sale, this made me a little nervous since I know I can't return it if it doesn't fit. Luckily, they had an XXS and an XS at a nearby store for me to try on since I run between both sizes depending on the cut, etc. After reading the reviews on here, I wasn't sure what to expect with the neckline but this ended up working out perfectly. I will say I always layer camisoles/tanks underneath tops such as this, so this neckline fell just where I wanted it. As for the length, this was ideal where I could tuck or leave it out for a more casual look . Although both sizes worked, I went with the XXS since it wasn't as roomy. Work ended up providing us with a button down, but no regrets on this purchase; I absolutely love this all-season top as it already made its way to the front of my closet.

This shirt is a lovely lightweight denim. The soft blue pairs well with my green boyfriend chinos, dark skinny jeans, and my favourite navy pencil skirt. It’s comfortable and looks sharp on Zoom calls. A perfect fall addition to my wardrobe that I suspect will be worn for several seasons.

I love this shirt with the exception of one thing. It is a little low cut for me. Other than that I think it is a perfect shirt. I love the color. Goes great with white, black, or denim. It’s so comfortable

Very nice shirt but if you are between sizes order up, roomy in the arms and bust but tapered in waist and hip area.

Fit on modeled image is true to life. The measurements sound big but I like the style and fit in this size, xs. -Msrmts: shoulder to bottom hem 26"; arm pit to pit 17"; bottom hem at widest point 19"-20"; sleeves end at wrist bone; fabric is pretty light blue, soft(!), not at all rigid and well sewn. -At first the collar looked large but the more I tried it on it didn't seem off. -V-neck doesn't expose me. -It can be worn as a tunic or tucked in a waistband. It fits over my hips and isn't boxy. (If this was longer it would be the perfect dress.) I'm 5'-7" 127 lbs 32c. JCrew sizes I wear: tops/dresses 2 or xs, 27 denim, 2 chino shorts. Disclaimer: I love the color blue so it may be why I like this top. In another color maybe I'd be "Eh no big deal" and return it. I like popovers, wearing shirts out or half-tucked w/jeans, and appreciate an alternative to button-downs and t-shirts.
