Not a love
July 24, 2026I was so excited when I saw this top was available on sale! Alas, I’m sad to say I just don’t like the fabric. It’s slippery and feels cheap, and is also quite shiny! Sadly it was final sale.

The good, the bad, the fabric
April 2, 2026I got both the black and white versions of this top. I wear 00 or 0, and I went with the 0 because I wanted to make sure the cap sleeve bit hung over my shoulders, if that makes sense, and the 0 does that for me, though it's hard to tell without having tried the 00 if that would've been better (as the 0 seems to hang pretty long). I mostly wanted to write this review to talk about the fabric. When I read other people's reviews, many said the fabric was great, and a few people said it looked cheap. My curiosity was piqued - how could it be both? In person, it definitely looks like polyester trying to be silk. It's a good weight and hangs nicely, but the sheen - along with how see-through the white one is - makes it look like a cross between a fabric shower curtain liner and a polyester scarf. The black version is more forgiving - it still has that sheen, but it not being as see-through saves it from looking shower curtain-y. Still, I do like that this sleeveless blouse is more interesting than standard button down sleeveless tops, with its tuxedo stylings and nice drape. I'm just saying, whoever photographed and/or retouched the black version (on the model) did a great job of making it look luxe. Maybe too good of a job. Overall, I think these tops are worth having, but especially so on sale.
