lovely little dress
July 12, 2023True to size. Ordered my regular size per the size guide and the fit is great! (For reference, I got a size 2. I'm a waist 26", bust 33", hip 37") The inner lining is nice to have, and makes the dress feel more substantial, though when I wore outside in the heat, the lining did start to get a little clingy... This dress is best worn for a semi-formal event, rather than casual because of its structure and fit.

Fun Summer Dress
July 7, 2023Cute and versatile dress. I normally wear a 0 or a 2 in JC dresses and ordered this one in a 2. It's a little roomy in the hips and tight on the top, but luckily it stretches. At 5'3" it covers my knees.

Cute dress but...
July 3, 2023I ordered this in my usual size and it fits, but I'm a 12 on top and 8 in pants so I might take it in a smidge. What I don't like is the nasty polyester lining, which feels like plastic on a hot summer day. I have another linen dress from jcrew that's probably 10 years old and it's lined with cotton and is a dream to wear on a 90 plus degree day!

4% elastic is a lot — and makes the fit strange
July 2, 2023I jump at a dress style that is longer in length, but also found that my usual size 2 was not fitting in the same manner. It doesn’t seem like a quality piece and the fabric isn’t the best. Unfortunate choice. Higher quality fabrication would have made all the difference here. Definitely order up a size if you want to try it.

July 1, 2023I was excited to see this on sale after seeing it in the window display at my local store. Received it today, disappointed in the quality. Feels thin and the gingham stitching does not line up straight on the sides. Ordered my normal size, buts it’s a little tight around my hips and too loose around my waist, so the fabric bunches up strangely when I walk. Only plus is that it runs long, as I am very tall.
