Fair Isle snowflake crewneck in Supersoft yarn

I love this snowflake sweater! I’d been trying to get it in my size for some time and finally got lucky. The antique blue and ivory colors are gorgeous and look terrific with blue jeans. I was a little concerned that the neckline would be too wide and the length too short based on the model but happily that’s not the case. The sweater hits my lower hip and it is a little boxy. I could probably have sized down one size but I think it looks better if it is a little big to achieve that retro ski lodge look. The material isn’t itchy at all but sort of stretchy and very soft. I’m so happy that I finally got this sweater and highly recommend it.

This is a beautiful, soft sweater that looks exactly as pictured except the ivory is maybe a little darker. I wear it with a lighter pair of belted distressed denim, partially tucked and with flats. Great casual holiday look.

After reading the reviews I bought the smallest size available it’s a beautiful sweater but it’s a very boxy fit. On the model the sweater looks fitted which is a little deceiving because they have it clipped in the back. I worked in retail and know this is what they do to make the sweater look more appealing. I’ve been in many J.Crew stores and saw this is what they do. I wish they would show the sweater without being pinned in the back so it will give you the correct look of the sweater. I kept the sweater because overall it is very nice and I also have the blouse to already go with it. In my opinion I would wear some kind of shirt underneath it because if you raise your arms up it will show your midriff unless that’s the look you’re going for. Overall it’s a great sweater and I kept it . I’m 5 foot 95 pounds so the sweater fits me a little longer than it would on a tall person. I don’t find a scratchy unless you have sensitive skin.

Beautiful pattern which is what drew me to purchase. XS worked for me- 5’4”, 122 lbs. I prefer longer arms in this kind of sweater. However- the material, in my opinion, was awful. It was spongy/springy- maybe too much poly. I would have kept if 100% lambswool. It was a disappointment for me and back it went. Please go back to using 100% wool.

The sweater feels soft and cozy with a relaxed fit- enough room to layer over a button-up. I would recommend sizing down if you're looking for something more fitted. Also, I love the vintage look of the faded light blue and off-white. The print is whimsical yet charmingly classic.
